Techmex SA has signed a contract with the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture for performing On-the-Spot Inspections in two Voivodeships.

On 23rd June 2009 in Warsaw Techmex SA has signed a contract with the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture for providing services within On-the-Spot Inspections Project using the site inspection method in two Voivodeships: Dolnośląskie and Opolskie. The total value of the contract is PLN 2,464,951.

The profitability of the contract will significantly increase in 2009 due to carrying out inspections using own resources only, without cooperation in consortium. The company has already prepared complete background for the project, appointed regional supervisors and signed contracts with controllers.

Techmex has submitted the best offers in a tender, and their value was:
- for Dolnośląskie Voivodeship: 2 017 318,80 PLN
- for Opolskie Voivodeship: 447 632,64 PLN

The On-the-Spot Inspections will be performed for the purposes of the EU Integrated Administration and Control System (IACS) that enables farmers to obtain co-financing from the EU Funds under the EU Common Agricultural Policy. To obtain financial aid, the farmers must consent in writing to subsequent control of conformity of data included in subsidy applications with the current status.

The Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture (AMAR) is a strategic partner of Techmex in the “Agriculture” sector. Between 2003 and 2008, Techmex prepared orthoimagery of Polish land for the Agency, carried out On-the-Spot Inspections using the site inspection and FOTO methods and provided photointerpretation services on the basis of spatial orthoimagery. The total value of services provided to AMAR by Techmex SA has reached the amount over 84,000,000 in total till the end of 2008.
