Techmex will create a Topographic Data Base for the part of Wielkopolskie voivodeship

On 22 September 2009 Techmex signed a contract for creating a Topographic Data Base (TBD) for the part of Wielkopolskie voivodeship. On 2 September 2009 the company was informed about choosing its offer by the Local Authorities.

The subject of the order is collecting spatial data and organising it with specified structures. The total value of the contract is 367 220 PLN.

The Topographic Data Base is a whole-country system for collecting, managing and providing topographic data. Information level of the TBD is comparable with topographic maps in scale 1:10 000. Topographic Data Base uses structures and solutions based on GIS technologies. It provides current, high quality topographic data for advanced spatial information systems created by Administration, Local Authorities and public institutions, such as systems for supporting rescue services, flood protection systems, spatial planning systems, environment protecion systems, road management systems, etc.
